Dan Goldfus has been playing guitar for over thirty years and
performing in the wine country for over twenty. His repertoire
includes a wide variety of music; jazz and latin standards,
classical, folk, contemporary and blues. He has opened shows for such
artists as Jose Feliciano, David Grisman, and Ricky Scaggs. Dan has
played at hundreds of weddings, private functions, restaurants, and
wineries including Robert Mondavi, Domaine Chandon, Sonoma Mission Inn, Meadowood and Charles Krug. He performs solo, in duos with Tony Alvis on sax , flute and clarinet, trios with an upright bass, and larger ensembles. Dan is also a member of the group Jazz on the Vine, who have released 4 CDs, and he has released 2 CDs of his own music, Across the Fields and West of Dakar.
