Carb & Swarthy are Michael Rofkar (guitar, vocals) and Jon Berger (violin, mandolin, accordion), two veterans of the Sonoma County music scene. Jon is one of Sonoma’s best fiddlers, a well-known and much-sought player for dances, and an alumnus of Celtic rock band Tempest. Michael is known for his singing of traditional and folk-rock songs, as well as his dynamic guitar playing. Both are members of the North Bay’s top Celtic band, Greenhouse. In this duo setting, they play a variety of songs and tunes, some of them original, some traditional, and some by other writers.
