Fishbone is Red Hot! Get your tickets early for our Closing Night film, Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone, followed by a live concert by the genre-defying rock band Fishbone at Hopmonk Tavern. The film “solidly makes the case that…Fishbone was one of rock's best live acts ever—furiously energetic, innovative, leaping multiple genres in a single song.” (Ernest Hardy) The film takes us on a 30-year journey from high school friends to rock stardom. It points to the difficulty of crossing the divide between artistry and fame, and asks us to define what success really means.
Following the screening of the film and a Q&A with the filmmaker, Fishbone will take the stage at Hopmonk for the show of the year, and close the 2012 Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival with a party you won’t want to end. Tickets for concert are sold separately from film ticket, and must be purchased through Hopmonk Tavern.
