(Sebastapol, CA – MARCH 31, 2012) Due to unforeseen complications with respect to Angelo’s recent knee surgery, Fishbone will not be able to perform this Sunday 4/1 at Hopmonk Tavern. Angelo is having emergency surgery this morning, and we are optimistic but uncertain we will be able to fulfill our headlining and European festival run, and are taking every precaution to ensure the quickest recovery. Hey guys, Patrick here at HopMonk. We learned late last night (Friday around 10pm) that Angelo with Fishbone had a medial emergency needing immediate attention and causing the cancelation of Sunday nights sold out show. Trust me we share your disappointment. The good news is Angelo is doing better and he and his crew have agreed to connect with those of you attending the film "Everyday Sunshine" that was to precede the concert , for a question and answer by SKYPE tomorrow. That will take place following the film screening tomorrow at around 8:45pm.
A second screening of the film will take place for free following the SKYPE Q + A. Pre-paid, on-line tickets for the music performance will be refunded to each of you through our ticketing partners at In-Ticketing. You should see the refund starting the middle of next week. We hope to reschedule this event following Frishbone's European tour later this Spring. All of you who purchased tickets for the show will be given the first opportunity to purchase tickets for the NEW show; we will notify you directly by email. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you for the film screenings tomorrow night.
